I truly appreciate you for joining me on this journey to uncover the significance of being a Kingdom writer.

Our focus for this month of June is: The Prophetic Writer. And in this article, I will be sharing on “Writing as Warfare and Intercession”

The Bible says: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 (NIV)

When we write under the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are not merely communicating ideas, we are waging war in the spirit and standing in the gap for others.

Our words become weapons against darkness, confusion, and despair. Writing becomes a form of intercession, a prophetic act that speaks life where there has been death and clarity where there has been chaos.

As kingdom writers, we must carry this mindset: “Let my words be what I would want spoken over me in my weakest hour.” This is the golden rule applied to the written word.

Writing is not just for expression, it is a ministry of healing, edification, and confrontation with the forces that resist truth and righteousness.

When we write:

  • We expose lies with truth.

  • We stand in the gap for the broken-hearted, the weary, and the seeking.

  • We become scribes of heaven, releasing decrees that align with God’s will on earth.

Let your pen be purposeful.

Let your journal entries, blog posts, devotionals, and books carry the weight of your prayers and the wisdom of the Word.

In a time when many are silenced or confused, your anointed writing can be a voice that breaks through the noise and ministers directly to the heart.

This is writing as warfare.

This is writing as intercession.

This is the call of the anointed pen.
