“The Anointed Pen: Writing as a Sacred Call for Kingdom Influence”

Hi, my name is Oluwatosin Olajumoke Arodudu, also known as OOA. I have been called into the ministry of writing, with a divine mandate to author books and help other Kingdom-minded writers publish their works to impact the world. You can confidently call me THE ANOINTED PUBLISHER!

This year, I’m excited to launch a series titled “The Anointed Pen: Writing as a Sacred Call for Kingdom Influence.” Through this series, we will explore the biblical foundation of writing and its significance in God’s plan.

Today’s focus is on “The Origins of Writing in Biblical Times.” We will delve into how God used writing as a powerful tool to communicate His will and guide His people.

Throughout January, I’ll share three key reasons why writing is important to God in His relationship with His people. In this first episode, we’ll start with COMMUNICATION—a foundational aspect of God’s use of writing.

Stay tuned and be blessed as we uncover the sacred purpose of writing in advancing God’s Kingdom!

WRITING AS A MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION

Writing is as ancient as time itself, established by God as a profound way to communicate with His people. It serves as a divine method of conveying His will to His people, ensuring both clarity and permanence. Remarkably, the first instance of writing recorded in Scripture was initiated by God Himself. He inscribed His laws on stone tablets and gave them to Moses. As it is written: “When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God” (Exodus 31:18).

In the time of Jeremiah, God commanded Jeremiah to write His words on a scroll to deliver His message to the nation of Israel. This written record was critical for clarity, accountability, and future reference.

In the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Take a scroll and write on it all the words I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah and all the other nations from the time I began speaking to you in the reign of Josiah till now.

God uses writing as a powerful tool to establish His Word on earth. Throughout the Scriptures, He appointed individuals—scribes and prophets—to convey His divine messages. Today, God continues to choose vessels to communicate His heart and will through writing. If you are a Kingdom-minded writer, it is vital to recognize and embrace this calling to remain firmly rooted in your prophetic and anointed purpose.

As an anointed writer, distractions will arise to derail you but remember that your ultimate responsibility is to please God, not yourself or others. Writing for His glory requires focus, obedience, and a deep connection with His Spirit.

Welcome to The Anointed Pen Series! Throughout this year, we will journey together through insights shared on this page and our website. It is my prayer that this series inspires and equips you to discover your unique role in God’s plan as a writer, empowering you to influence the world through your anointed pen.

May you be blessed, strengthened, and liberated to stand boldly as part of God’s army, using your writing talent and gifting for His glory, in Jesus’ name!

If this blessed you, please share so that others can be blessed too.
